Like Royal Poinciana below, the Shower Tree bursts into a mass of color when it blossoms, leaving virtually no leaves visible. This is a Golden Shower tree located here in Hawaii, and we also have Rainbow Shower Trees, whose petals are each both pink and yellow. Later, when the petals start to fall from their grape-like bunches, they shower down around everyone and everything and swirl on the roads like cherry blossoms in the spring.

Golden Shower Tree
Like Royal Poinciana below, the Shower Tree bursts into a mass of color when it blossoms, leaving virtually no leaves visible.
