A crescent moon seems suspended in an azure sky over waves of cottony clouds that covered the land from Desolation Sound, B.C. to about 3/4 of the way to Hawaii. When the plane first rises up through the clouds and you can just begin to see through the soft haze of their surface, everything turns surreal and it seems as though you are floating on clouds and anything is possible.
