Kaneohe town on the Hawaiian Island of O'ahu is nestled at the base of the Koolau volcanic mountain range. Vertical volcanic cliffs such as these are known as pali and the vertical ribs in them are caused by thousands of years of tropical rainfall erosion. This is the back view from my home.
